What is eyebrow tattooing?

Eyebrow tattooing, also known as microblading or eyebrow embroidery, is a non-invasive and non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing thin hair-like strokes onto the skin beneath the eyebrows to enhance their shape, fullness, and definition.

Is eyebrow tattooing safe?

Yes, it is safe as long as the procedure is performed by a skilled and experienced artist in a sterile environment. At K-brow clinic, we follow a strict hygiene protocol for the well-being of our clients.

What is the cost of eyebrow tattooing?

The cost of eyebrow tattooing is 300,000 Korean Won (approximately 230USD). Note that the cost can be higher if the client requires a treatment to lower the tone of his or her previous tattoo.

Does eyebrow tattooing hurt?

The sensation clients experience during a microblading procedure is more of a discomfort than pain. This is because we use numbing cream to minimize pain or discomfort. Most clients find the procedure to be relatively painless.

How long does eyebrow tattooing last?

The longevity of eyebrow microblading varies depending on factors such as skin type, aftercare, and lifestyle habits. Typically, the results stay from 1 to 3 years before clients return for a touch-up.

How do I prepare for eyebrow microblading?

We recommend avoiding alcohol and blood-thinning medications. It is best not plucking or waxing your eyebrows for at least a week. If you have any medical conditions or are taking medication, please tell the consultant before the appointment.

What should I expect during a microblading procedure?

During the procedure, the artist will use a handheld tool to create thin, precise strokes that mimic the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs. The whole process typically takes between 1 and 2 hours, and you can expect to see immediate results.

How do I care for my eyebrows after the procedure?

After the procedure, 1) avoid getting the area wet for at least 24 hours, 2) avoid touching or scratching the treated area, 3) avoid applying makeup or skincare products to the treated area for at least one week, 4) avoid exposure to direct sunlight or tanning bed, 5) avoid excessive sweating, swimming, or hot tubs for at least one week, 6) avoid picking at any scab or flaking skin during healing process.

Who is a good candidate for eyebrow tattooing?

Eyebrow microblading is great for those with sparse or uneven eyebrows. It is also a good option for those who are unhappy with the shape or color of their eyebrows.

Is eyebrow microblading a great cosmetic option for everyone?

No, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions or skin allergies.

Is eyebrow tattoos removeable?

Yes, eyebrow tattoos can be removed through laser treatment or other methods. Removal can, however, be a more costly process.

How long does the healing process take after the procedure?

The healing process can take anywhere from one to four weeks depending on the individual’s skin type and how well clients adhere to the aftercare guideline.

is it possible to choose the color and shape of the eyebrows ?

Yes, clients can work with the artist to choose the color and shape of the eyebrows before the procedure begins. The practitioner will also offer advice based on the clients’ face shape and natural eyebrow.

Is there any downtime after eyebrow microblading?

There is typically no downtime after the procedure, but clients may experience some mild redness or swelling for a few days.
